Come experience a state of deep relaxation and peace as Alexandra offers an amazing sound journey, guided by the sacred sounds of crystal bowls and gongs. This practice is known by ancient traditions to “tune the soul”.

 

Sound healing is based on the principle that vibrations change consciousness. The healing vibrations pass through our bodies, opening blockages, helping you center and connect with the divine within. Using sound as a meditation helps eliminate the chatter of the thinking mind, allowing for a deep connection to self. It is within this connection that everything slips away, and we come into a state of deep peace.

 

Bring your yoga mat and feel free to bring your own blanket, pillow, cushions, or eye covering for added comfort.

Need a dose of stable, grounded strength to boost your mind, heart and your practice? Often in yoga, we emphasize the flexibility aspect, and many people who haven’t tried yoga assume yoga is a stretch class. While flexibility is an important component of a well-rounded yoga practice, building internal and external stability is equally essential. 

 

Join Kiki in this workshop to create a source of strength that will support your practice inside and out -- whether you need it to connect to your inner confidence, prevent injuries, regain strength after a lapse or injury, or just want to tone your body. 
 
By growing your yoga strength, you'll build sufficient physical power to find the sense of comfort and ease in an asana. If you’re struggling in class, it's often because your muscles aren’t developed enough to support you, and the comfort won’t be easy to access.

Along with building strength through the arms and legs, building a solid foundation by developing a strong core center will protect your spine and prevent back pain. It is the perfect basis for developing and maintaining stability and improving your sense of balance -- whether that’s on one leg, your hands, or in your thoughts and emotions.
