What is Pranayama?
Pranayama is the formal practice of controlling the breath and lies at the heart of Yoga. Prana is breath and Ayama means control. Some types of Pranayama are Ujjayi, Bhramari and Nadi Shuddhi.

NEW! Beginner Series
Saturdays at 11:30, beginning April 19th
 
Join our Beginner's Series on Saturdays at 11:30, beginning April 19th      This series is designed to introduce beginners to the practice. The series will introduce poses in a very systematic way in order to help students to become comfortable and familiar with the practice. The groundwork for a fulfilling practice that includes asana, pranayama and meditation will be laid. The series is a perfect opportunity to either start or deepen your practice.

Call to pre-register, 214-965-9642 or register at the studio. Price for series - $99 for 8 weeks. Drop-ins welcome based on mat space available.



Prenatal Yoga Classes
Sundays at 12:30 PM
 
Join our Prenatal Yoga classes on Sundays at 12:30 PM      This course is designed to assist mom’s-to-be to continue a safe, strengthening, and contemplative asana practice in light of their body’s transition throughout their term of pregnancy to child bearing.

Pranayama techniques to increase energy and equanimity will be included.  Here is a time set aside for yogi moms to explore inwardly and share outwardly with others for support and nurturing exchange.
