I have always enjoyed exercise and living a healthy lifestyle. After moving back to the United States from Cozumel, Mexico; I was searching for something more than just another sweaty gym. Somehow, I stumbled into a yoga studio to take a belly dancing class, and in the end, the belly dancing didn’t stick but the yoga did. I found it to be so energizing and NOT BORING! I immediately fell in love with vinyasa flow based yoga. It is amazing the calmness that yoga has brought to my naturally “A” type personality life. I feel like I can finally really breathe again. After 5 years of practicing yoga, I wanted to share this life changing experience with others and I took the plunge and went through the 200 hour certification in 2008. It was one of the best things I have ever done with my life. My goal as an instructor is to get you breathing deeply and calmly and to encourage you to take that breathe out into you everyday life to share with others. I love to smile and laugh, so prepare to let yourself go and enjoy the ride.
